Egypt eVisa Requirements

Before travelling abroad, most people want one simple thing: clear instructions on what documents they need. Egypt follows a straightforward approach for its eVisa system.

The requirements are minimal, and applicants only need to provide a few basic details to begin the online application.

Required Document for the Egypt eVisa

Passport Sample

Passport Bio Page

  • A clear scanned copy of the passport bio page (photo page).
  • The passport must belong to a country eligible for the Egypt eVisa.
  • All information entered in the application must match the passport exactly.

The passport bio page contains the traveller’s personal details, passport number, and machine-readable zone (MRZ) used for identity verification.

Passport Requirements

  • The passport must remain valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival in Egypt.
  • The uploaded passport scan must be clear, readable, and complete.
  • The passport used for the application must also be presented when entering Egypt.

If your passport is close to expiry, renew it before submitting the eVisa application.

Information Required During the Application

In addition to the passport bio page, applicants must provide basic information during the online application process:

  • Personal details from the passport
  • Contact email address
  • Travel information
  • Payment method for the visa fee

After processing, the approved Egypt eVisa is delivered to the applicant’s email address.

What happens if the passport details in the application are incorrect?

Incorrect passport information may cause processing delays or entry verification issues. All application details must match the passport exactly before submission. Contact Us if such issues arise during the application process.
